I have to say that I am highly impressed with what Sophie has learned from Stephanie.
She has maintained a love for learning new things on the piano over the seven months that she has been coming to lessons. She has almost completed the first book in the series and loves to come home with new songs to learn. Sophie also tries to teach piano to her friends and emulates things that Stephanie tells her during the class.
I believe this says a lot about Stephanie and how she inspires students. Stephanie always seems kind and patient and seems to enjoy teaching. She is organized and has an excellent plan for her students. This includes lesson time, home piano practice, recitals and music theory. This has included 2 concerts since Sophie began.
Sophie was very excited about both concerts and wanted to invite several family members and friends. Stephanie encouraged her to invite whoever she wanted. It was a wonderful experience for Sophie and her audience. Stephanie also is open to speaking with me about any concerns or questions, and has made communication easy. She really involves parents in the learning process.
I would encourage anyone to enroll in these classes. It is wonderful to hear my daughter play her piano and see how her confidence has improved.
